Launched in 2015 by Usama Rais and Zakki Noor, DesignSkope is a full-service interior design firm based in Mumbai. It specializes in luxury design for residential as well as commercial and retail spaces. The firm also provides solutions for custom furniture, lighting, and art procurement /installation.
Over the years, DesignSkope has been creating refined, meaningful interior design for a discerning clientele. The firm has worked on a variety of setups from homes of HNIs to office spaces, restaurants, celebrity-frequented salons, and more.
Usama & Zakki are highly creative individuals driven by the purpose to provide clients with spaces that accentuate their luxurious way of life. A Mumbai-based interior designer with a decade full of experience in the business, Usama started DesignSkope – A full-service interior design firm along with his co-founder Zakki Noor in the year 2015.
Since childhood, Usama had a penchant for the creative arts which he decided to channel and pursue a professional certification in interior designing from IITC, Mumbai.
After taking the plunge into the world of interior design, he took on an array of residential & commercial projects for HNIs, while being supported and mentored by experts in the industry; who saw a creative spark and astounding dedication in Usama & decided to entrust him with high-value creative briefs. Since then, Usama has perfected the art luxury space design with each project.
Along the way, he has serviced a noteworthy clientele, Usama’s strengths lie in providing solutions for optimal space usage in a way that it speaks the language of comfort, convenience & creativity all at once. He is absolutely passionate about art & design. Usama gathers inspiration from his clients’ life philosophies and finds ways to deliver delight stemming from it all.
Staying true to his life motto –‘FOLLOW YOUR PASSION AND SUCCESS WILL FOLLOW’, He aims to add a dash of happiness in spaces, through the power of design.
Building on his flair for design and a sharp instinct for what clients want, Zakki transitioned to a career in commercial and residential design work, designing high-end homes and commercial spaces. Ultimately opening up his own interior firm, his business continued to grow in leaps and bounds, and he eventually expanded the company into luxury design firm – DesignSkope.
When Zakki is not busy putting his special touch on client spaces, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing cricket and giving back to the community. He sits on the committee of the Memon Educational Welfare Society and has been serving the community since a decade
Zakki lives by the motto, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time” which further translates into his work, delivering spaces of unparalleled quality.
